Jacqueline Kuiper

Jacqueline Kuiper is a Bates Group Consulting Expert and a Founding Partner of Nelson Kuiper, PLLC, a securities law firm specializing in AI-assisted representation.  She is also a Founder of ROWE [Results Oriented Women Entrepreneurs] Capital Group, which provides regulatory compliance, fund servicing, and advisory services to entrepreneurs and start-ups raising capital.  Jacqueline has a Juris Doctorate and an Executive MBA.  She has served as General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, and EVP of a family office turned private equity and investment firm and has formed and managed an SEC-registered RIA, an ERA, and a Venture Capital ERA.  Jacqueline also provides legal, compliance, advisory, and transactional support to private clients in the private equity, venture capital, and investment spaces.  She engages with fund administrators, broker-dealers, legal and compliance teams, vendors, and clients throughout the United States.

Prior to Jacqueline’s career in legal and compliance services, Jacqueline worked with the Chief Risk Officer of a major bank to diligence assets prior to a divestiture.  Additionally, she served as a Chapter 7 bankruptcy trustee (2010-2013), administering more than 350 cases per month during the height of the 2008 global financial crisis, where she dealt with some of the most unprecedented financial issues in the United State’s history.  She was routinely involved in representing clients and small-to-mid-size businesses through financial restructurings, short sales, foreclosures, and reorganization.  She has 15 years’ experience in roles such as Attorney, Trustee, General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, EVP, and Chief Legal Officer.  Her experience includes asset management, due diligence, risk management, regulatory compliance, governance, litigation, oversight of legal teams, creation of compliance programs, contracts, corporate transactions, and the management of third-party vendors and service providers, including external counsel.  Jacqueline is able to identify and mitigate risks as well as develop creative strategic action plans.  Combining her law degree and MBA, Jacqueline weaves together the law and operational needs to successfully help companies implement strategic programs and policies.
